3. In your email Include: full description,
condition, location and all
contact information you want to see online in your listing.
Attach the Photo files. An Email address is a good
idea but not mandatory, you should include: Contact
Name, Phone, and City. Please use a little thought
and punctuation, even though I do edit for grammar and
spelling, as well as overall appeal, the more information you
provide in an easy to understand way, will increase the number of
inquiries you receive. Pricing: Remember: "price: versus
perceived value" .. and the buyers will always want to
barter after that. In other words give yourself some
leeway, but, not so much they roll right by.
If you are selling concrete equipment please
call or email with description first.
I do not list concrete equipment on this site, it goes on con-crete.com
After looking at a few listings there, I think you will
understand.
Please note,
you have to submit all your listing information and
photos by email ( or snail mail ), for us to create the
ads personally here. This takes more effort on our part,
but it works better, and people like it. More people will
see your listing .
Regarding Photos:
1. To send photos via Email,
please use .jpg format. I would prefer
you looked at them first, if they take up 8 screens, they are
too big. You can send them that way, but I will crop and
resize them, down to 640 - 720 pixels in width..
depending on subject of photo. ( a photo of the hour meter does
not need to be that big), I even work on them at a deeper level
if they are dark, light, etc.... You can do all this, or leave
it to me. But if you send a bunch huge photos, it could fill up
my email box. There is no limit to the number of photos,
just be reasonable, I will choose not to include any that seem
too repetitive.
2. On the other hand If you need for us to scan photo,
just send it to address below. Be sure to
identify the photo on the back, and include
full description in your mail. I will
not return them.
( when I first started, I did this a lot, seems not
so much anymore, I had enough photos sent to cover a wall,
and I did. ) I really don't mind still doing
it.
After
your listing is up: Beware of Scams
Beware of the Counterfeit Check Scam, they will want to send
more money than advertised, asking you to send back the overage,
the check will be counterfeit... Don't worry, just be
wary..... it's very easy to spot, just ignore.

First Unit: $35.00, Each
additional unit: $20.00 paid for at the same time ( in other words, one
$35.00 listing does not entitle you to a second listing at
some later time for $20 )
Total: "One Time Cost"until it is sold. I may remove
it after one full year if I don't hear from you.
